Every feature, area by area

What the console and the API do today, from a first website to firewalls and backups — with a link to the guide for each.

Managed web hosting

Hosting plans start at $6.99 a month. We run the server; you deploy the site. Each site is its own isolated environment with HTTPS from Let's Encrypt issued automatically once your domain points at it.

  • Runtimes: PHP 8.1 to 8.4 (8.3 by default), Node.js 22, Python, or a static site.
  • Classic hosting adds a control panel with MySQL-compatible databases, cron jobs, PHP settings and logs.
  • Deploy from a public Git repository: pick the branch and subfolder, deploy by hand, every hour, every day, or from a CI webhook.
  • One-click WordPress, set up with WP-CLI and a generated admin password shown once.
  • Backups on the schedule you choose (every 6 or 12 hours, daily or weekly, keeping up to 10), copied off-site.

VPS servers

Root servers start at $4 a month, billed by the hour and capped at the monthly price. Each one is a root system container, which starts in seconds, and Docker runs inside it. Sizes up to 8 vCPU and 16 GB are self-serve; larger ones are on request. Virtual machines are planned, not available yet.

  • A root shell in the browser, plus a serial console; no SSH daemon needed to get in.
  • SSH keys and cloud-init user data at creation.
  • Resize CPU and memory on a running container without a reboot; disk size is fixed.
  • Clone a server, or restore a backup into a brand-new one.

Snapshots and backups

  • Snapshots on demand or on a schedule: hourly, every 6 or 12 hours, daily or weekly, kept for 1 to 30 days.
  • Roll a server back to any snapshot in one click.
  • Scheduled backups every 6 or 12 hours, daily or weekly, keeping the last 1 to 10; download one to keep your own copy.

Networking and DNS

  • Every server gets a block of ports on the region's shared public IPv4 address, with SSH on the first; add your own port mappings inside it. IPv6 is not available in US East yet.
  • A dedicated IPv4 address when you need a whole one, as a paid add-on, while the region has addresses free.
  • Firewall rules attached to a server's network card.
  • Private networks, floating IPs and load balancers are planned, not available yet.
  • DNS zones for domains you have proved you own.
  • Outbound mail on port 25 is blocked by default, to keep the network off spam lists.

Storage

  • Block storage volumes you attach to a server and grow when you need more space.
  • S3-compatible object storage buckets, included in the Grow, Scale and Business hosting plans.

One-click apps

The marketplace installs 63 self-hosted apps, from n8n and Ollama to Nextcloud, Gitea and PostgreSQL, with generated passwords that owners can reveal later (every reveal is in the audit log). Browse them in the app directory.

API, SDK and automation

  • A REST API covering most of what the console does, with JSON errors and per-key rate limits.
  • API keys scoped to read or write per resource type, with IP allow-lists and expiry dates.
  • Webhooks for server events such as instance.started and instance.stopped.
  • A Python SDK and a command-line tool.

Teams, security and billing

  • Organizations with members in four roles (owner, admin, member, viewer); owners can require two-factor sign-in for everyone.
  • An audit log of account and infrastructure actions, exportable as CSV or JSON.
  • One invoice for hosting, servers and add-ons, and a 14-day free trial without a card.
