What does “$20 of AI usage” mean?

Every message to the builder uses the AI model, priced per token at the rates published on this page. What a message costs varies with what you ask for; each message shows its cost in the builder, so there are no surprises.

What happens when my AI usage runs out?

Accepted Answer

The AI pauses until your next monthly allowance starts, or until you move to a bigger plan. Your published sites, their data and their sign-ins keep working: hosting never depends on AI usage.

Do I pay per team member?

Accepted Answer

No. Plans are per organization. On every paid plan, everyone in your VeloxaHost organization can build and shares the plan's AI usage, with no seat fees. The Free plan is for one person.

Which plans can I get today?

Free and Pro. Starter ($9/month) and Team ($59/month) are coming soon, and so is custom domains.

Is there a discount for paying yearly?

Accepted Answer

Yearly billing is coming soon; plans are billed monthly today. Paying yearly will give you 2 months free: Pro will be $250 a year instead of $300.

How do I get Pro?

Pro is the Veloxa Build add-on: an owner or admin of your VeloxaHost organization turns it on in the console under Settings → Add-ons, and it then covers everyone in the organization. The Free plan needs no add-on: it is for the owner of an active VeloxaHost organization with a verified email address. Signing up for VeloxaHost gives you your own organization, so verify your email and you can sign in and start building. Members of someone else's organization build on that organization's paid plan, when it has one.

Do unused AI credits roll over?

No. Your AI usage allowance starts fresh each month, and what you don't use does not carry over.

Question 8

Are automatic error fixes free?

Accepted Answer

Not yet. When the builder spots an error in your app and fixes it, that fix is a message like any other: it uses AI usage at the same rates, and you see what it cost. Making automatic fixes free, and not charging for messages that fail on our side, is planned. This page will say so when it ships.

Can I take my code with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on every plan, including Free. Download your project as ordinary HTML, CSS and JavaScript files that run on any static host, including VeloxaHost hosting. Forms, sign-in and stored data need Veloxa Build hosting and do not work in the download.

Which AI model do you use?

Accepted Answer

An open-weights model for building, and a faster one for small tasks like naming projects. You can't choose a different model. Our per-token rates are the model provider's list price plus 25%, and they are published on this page.

Can I use my own domain?

Accepted Answer

Not yet: custom domains are coming soon, with 1 on Starter, 5 on Pro and 20 on Team. Until then, every site is published with HTTPS at an address like yourname.veloxa.site.

Can my site take form submissions?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on every plan. Contact, booking and order forms on a published site send what visitors type to the site's inbox in the builder, and you get an email for each submission, up to 20 emails per site an hour. Each organization can receive 100 a month on Free, 1,000 a month on Starter, 5,000 a month on Pro and 20,000 a month on Team. Spam protection is built in, and a site's submissions are kept when it is unpublished and come back if you publish it again at the same address within 30 days.

What can't Veloxa Build do yet?

It has no GitHub sync, no SQL database (apps get a built-in key-value database, and forms on published sites collect submissions in an inbox, but there is no database you query yourself), no model picker and no payments integration. If you need one of those today, our comparison page shows which other builders offer it.

What if my app outgrows the builder?

Download it and run it on VeloxaHost hosting or on a VPS from $5/month, billed to the same VeloxaHost account as your builder plan.
