Docker runs application containers on a single host. Kubernetes orchestrates containers at scale but requires deep expertise. VeloxaHost provides full system containers and VMs with a unified management layer — the simplicity of a PaaS with the power of IaaS. No YAML manifests, no Helm charts, no container registries needed.

What hypervisor does VeloxaHost use?

VeloxaHost runs on Incus, the modern successor to LXD. It supports LXC system containers, QEMU/KVM virtual machines, OVN software-defined networking, and ZFS storage. All workloads run in isolated Incus projects with enforced resource limits.

How is my data isolated from other tenants?

Every organization gets a dedicated Incus project (ghc-{org-slug}) with strict security boundaries. Containers run in restricted mode — no privileged access, no raw network sockets. Networks are isolated via OVN, storage is quota-limited, and all API communication uses mTLS client certificates.

Where are the data centers located?

VeloxaHost is headquartered in Texas. We are rolling regions out gradually rather than claiming global coverage on day one — expect a small number at launch, with more added as demand justifies them. You pick the region when you create a server, and the current list is always shown there.

Can I use SSH to connect to my instances?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Manage SSH keys through the dashboard or API and connect via standard SSH. VeloxaHost also provides a browser-based web terminal powered by WebSocket — works through firewalls, no SSH daemon required. Both exec (command) and VGA console (full screen) modes are supported.

The 14-day trial is full-featured and needs no credit card. When it ends, pick any hosting plan (from $9.99/mo) or VPS size (from $5/mo) to carry on. Your instances and data are kept for a further 7 grace days if you need time to decide.
