    Create a room to get a code and an invite link to copy, or join a friend's room by code or link. A list shows who is in the room, and anyone can leave.

How the room works, and what it keeps

Rooms use the builder's built-in peer-to-peer connections: the person who creates the room relays every stroke to the others, so there is no game server for you to run. Everyone in a room needs to sign in; drawing alone works without it. Nothing is saved: the room ends when its creator leaves, so download the picture first.

What happens when you start

  1. Step 1: Open it as your own project

    “Start from this template” opens Veloxa Build at build.veloxahost.com. Sign in with your VeloxaHost account if you are not already, and the Live Drawing Room files are copied into a new project of yours. Copying the template uses no AI.

  2. Step 2: Change it by chatting

    Type what to change, or click an element in the live preview and say what you want. Each change uses AI usage from your plan; the Free plan includes $1 a month.

  3. Step 3: Go back to the original

    The untouched template is saved as the project's first version, so you can restore it from the history whenever a change goes the wrong way.

  4. Step 4: Publish when it is yours

    Publish puts the site on an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon. Until you publish, the project is a private draft.

How many people can draw in one room?
The template sets no limit, but every stroke passes through the creator's browser, so it suits a small group of friends rather than a class of hundreds.
Do my friends need an account?
Yes, to join a room everyone signs in. Drawing on your own works without signing in.
Is the drawing saved anywhere?
No. It lives in the browsers in the room. Use Download to keep a PNG before the room's creator leaves.
Can I turn it into a game?
Yes, by chatting: “turn it into a guess-the-drawing game” is one of the suggested prompts. Ask for one change at a time and test it with a friend in the preview.
