Veloxa Build: To-do List template for the AI app builder

A working to-do app: add tasks with due dates, filter them, rename them, switch to dark mode. Visitors sign in to keep their own list. Open it as your own project and tell the AI what to add.

What's inside

What the To-do List template contains

A polished to-do app with due dates, filters and dark mode. Each visitor signs in and keeps their own list.

  • Add tasks

A task field with an optional due date. Double-click a task to rename it; each task can be ticked off or deleted.

  • Filters with counts

All, active, today, overdue and done, each with a count, plus “clear completed” and the number of tasks left.

  • Due date labels

Tasks show Today, Tomorrow, a date, or Overdue with the date.

  • Dark mode and sign-in

A theme switch that starts from the visitor's system setting, and sign-in and sign-out buttons in the top bar, with a “Saving…” and “All changes saved” status.

Who it suits

  • Anyone who wants a simple task list under their own name
  • A starting point for a team, class or club checklist app
  • Builders learning how sign-in and saved data work in an app

Sample content

It opens with a few example tasks, which are not saved to anyone's list.

What it saves, and for whom

Each signed-in visitor's tasks and theme are saved in the app's built-in database under their own sign-in, so every visitor sees only their own list. Visitors who do not sign in can still use it, but nothing is kept when they close the page. Tasks added before signing in are kept when they sign in.

What happens when you start

  1. Step 1: Open it as your own project

“Start from this template” opens Veloxa Build at build.veloxahost.com. Sign in with your VeloxaHost account if you are not already, and the To-do List files are copied into a new project of yours. Copying the template uses no AI.

  2. Step 2: Change it by chatting

Type what to change, or click an element in the live preview and say what you want. Each change uses AI usage from your plan; the Free plan includes $1 a month.

  3. Step 3: Go back to the original

The untouched template is saved as the project's first version, so you can restore it from the history whenever a change goes the wrong way.

  4. Step 4: Publish when it is yours

Publish puts the site on an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon. Until you publish, the project is a private draft.

FAQ

To-do List template questions

Do visitors need an account to use it?
Only to keep their tasks. Without signing in the app works, but the list is gone when the page closes.
Can two people share one list?
Not as it comes: each signed-in visitor has their own list. Data that every visitor shares is not available yet.
Can I see my visitors' tasks?
The template has no admin view; each list is kept under the visitor's own sign-in. If you need people to send you something, ask for a form, whose submissions reach your Inbox.
Does it send reminders?
No. Due dates are shown in the list; the app sends no email or notifications.
