What happens when you start
Step 1: Open it as your own project
“Start from this template” opens Veloxa Build at build.veloxahost.com. Sign in with your VeloxaHost account if you are not already, and the Creative Portfolio files are copied into a new project of yours. Copying the template uses no AI.
Step 2: Change it by chatting
Type what to change, or click an element in the live preview and say what you want. Each change uses AI usage from your plan; the Free plan includes $1 a month.
Step 3: Go back to the original
The untouched template is saved as the project's first version, so you can restore it from the history whenever a change goes the wrong way.
Step 4: Publish when it is yours
Publish puts the site on an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon. Until you publish, the project is a private draft.
Creative Portfolio template questions
- How do I get my photos into the grid?
- Attach them to a message in the builder and say where they go (“use my attached photos in the project grid”). Attached files are saved in the project.
- Can I have more or different filters?
- Yes. Each project carries a category the filter buttons read. Ask the AI to rename the filters and tag each project.
- Can a project have its own page?
- The template shows projects in the lightbox only. Ask the AI for a separate page per project if you want a written case study for each.
- Where does my portfolio live?
- It goes live at an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon.
