Use case

Veloxa Build: Build a waitlist page with the AI website builder

A waitlist page explains the product in a few lines and collects the addresses of people who want it. Start from the SaaS Launch & Waitlist template, describe your product in the chat, and publish the page while the product is still being built.

What you can build

What your waitlist page can have

Everything here is in the SaaS Launch & Waitlist template from the start. Keep it, change it or remove it by chat.

  • A headline and a signup in the first screen

The template opens with your headline, a line on who the product is for, and the waitlist form: a work email and a team size. Ask for other fields, such as a role, and the AI changes the form.

  • A mock-up of the product

Beside the form is a mock-up of the app drawn in HTML, not a screenshot. Describe your product's main screen and the AI reshapes it, or attach a screenshot to use instead.

  • Features, pricing and an FAQ

Six feature cards, three plans with a monthly and yearly switch, and five questions. Remove the pricing table if your prices are not set; every plan button leads back to the signup.

  • A last call to sign up

A closing band repeats the signup button for visitors who read to the end before deciding.

The template

Start from the SaaS Launch & Waitlist template

“Start from this template” opens the builder and makes a copy of the template your own project, with its form or sign-in already working. Then tell the AI what to change.

Where signups go

Each signup from the published page lands in your Inbox in the builder with the fields the form asks for. Turn on an email to yourself for each one if you want it, and export the list as CSV for the mailing service you use.

Prompts

Messages to send in the builder

Replace the parts in square brackets with your own details, then send one message at a time and check the preview after each.

  • “Our product is [name], a [what it does] for [who it is for]. Rewrite the headline and the features around that.”
  • “Ask for the person's role as well as their email”
  • “Remove the pricing section until our prices are final”
  • “Add a line under the form saying we open to the first users in [month]”
  • “Make the app mock-up look like a dashboard with a chart and a task list”
Limits

What it can and cannot do

Said plainly, so you know before you start whether it fits.

It can

  • Collect signups from anyone with the link, with no account for the visitor
  • Show a thank-you message on the page once someone has signed up
  • Keep, change or remove the pricing table as your plans firm up
  • Download the files as plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript

It cannot

  • It does not send a confirmation or a launch email to the list; export it to your mailing service for that.
  • It does not count signups live: the waitlist count in the template is sample text to change or remove.
  • It has no refer-a-friend or place-in-line scheme, which needs data every visitor shares; that is not available yet.
  • It takes no payments: Veloxa Build has no checkout, no card payments and no deposits.
  • It does not sync with Google, Outlook or Apple calendars, and nothing it builds shows free time slots.
  • It sends no email to your visitors: a form shows a thank-you on the page, and an app sends no messages.
  • Custom domains are not available yet (coming soon); until then it is published at an address like yourname.veloxa.site.
From template to live site

Publishing your waitlist page

  1. Step 1: Open the template as your project

“Start from the template” opens Veloxa Build at build.veloxahost.com and copies the SaaS Launch & Waitlist template into a new project of yours. Sign in with your VeloxaHost account if you are not already. Copying it uses no AI.

  2. Step 2: Make it yours by chatting

Send the prompts above with your own details, or click an element in the preview and say what to change. Each change uses AI usage from your plan; the Free plan includes $1 a month.

  3. Step 3: Try it in the preview

The live preview runs the page as you build it. A form you send there reaches your Inbox marked as a preview test, so you can check the fields before anyone else sees them.

  4. Step 4: Publish on veloxa.site

Publish puts it on an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon. Until you publish, the project is a private draft, and every version can be restored from the history.

FAQ

Waitlist page questions

Can the waitlist page send a welcome email?
No. The page shows a thank-you message and sends nothing to the person who signed up. Export the list as CSV from the Inbox and write to them from the mailing service you use.
Does the product need to exist first?
No. The waitlist page is a site of its own, so it can go live while the product is being built. Change the copy by chat as the plans firm up, and publish each change.
Can I test the form before I publish?
Yes. A form you send from the builder's live preview reaches the Inbox too, marked as a preview test, so you can check the fields before anyone else sees the page.
Where does the page live?
It goes live at an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon.
What does a waitlist page cost to run?
The Free plan costs nothing and includes 1 published site, 100 signups a month and $1 of AI usage a month for building. Starter is $9 a month with 1,000, and Pro $25 a month with 5,000. Submissions are counted per organization across all its sites, and the published page stays online when the AI usage runs out.
