A grid you can filter
Nine projects with filter buttons by kind of work. Rename the filters to your disciplines and tag each project; ask the AI to keep the two in step.
A lightbox for each project
Click a project to see it full size, with previous and next buttons that step through the filtered set.
About and services
A short bio, the services you offer and a list of recognition. Remove the parts that do not apply to you.
Enquiries with a budget
Name, email, project type, an optional budget range and a message, next to your email and social links.
The template
Start from the Creative Portfolio template
“Start from this template” opens the builder and makes a copy of the template your own project, with its form or sign-in already working. Then tell the AI what to change.
Where enquiries go
Each enquiry from the published site lands in your Inbox in the builder, with an email to you for each if you turn that on, and exports as CSV. Visitors need no account to send one.

Limits
What it can and cannot do
Said plainly, so you know before you start whether it fits.
It can
- Show your own images, attached in the chat and saved in the project
- Add a written page for each project if you ask for one
- Take enquiries with no account for the visitor
It cannot
- It does not sell prints or downloads; link to the shop you use.
- It does not keep a published project private: the site is public, so use a private draft while work is unfinished.
- It takes no payments: Veloxa Build has no checkout, no card payments and no deposits.
- It does not sync with Google, Outlook or Apple calendars, and nothing it builds shows free time slots.
- It sends no email to your visitors: a form shows a thank-you on the page, and an app sends no messages.
- Custom domains are not available yet (coming soon); until then it is published at an address like yourname.veloxa.site.
From template to live site
Publishing your portfolio
Step 1: Open the template as your project
“Start from the template” opens Veloxa Build at build.veloxahost.com and copies the Creative Portfolio template into a new project of yours. Sign in with your VeloxaHost account if you are not already. Copying it uses no AI.
Step 2: Make it yours by chatting
Send the prompts above with your own details, or click an element in the preview and say what to change. Each change uses AI usage from your plan; the Free plan includes $1 a month.
Step 3: Try it in the preview
The live preview runs the page as you build it. A form you send there reaches your Inbox marked as a preview test, so you can check the fields before anyone else sees them.
Step 4: Publish on veloxa.site
Publish puts it on an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon. Until you publish, the project is a private draft, and every version can be restored from the history.
FAQ
Portfolio website questions
- How do I get my images into it?
- Attach them to a message in the builder and say where they go, such as “use my attached images in the grid”. Attached files are saved in the project.
- Can I add my CV to it?
- Yes. Paste your CV into the chat and ask for a CV section or a page of its own. The Résumé / CV template is also there as a separate one-page CV with an A4 print layout.
- Can a project have its own page?
- The template shows projects in the lightbox. Ask the AI for a page per project if you want to write up each one as a case study.
- Where does my portfolio live?
- It goes live at an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon.
- What does a portfolio website cost?
- The Free plan costs nothing and includes 1 published site, 100 enquiries a month and $1 of AI usage a month for building. Starter is $9 a month with 1,000, and Pro $25 a month with 5,000. Submissions are counted per organization across all its sites, and the published page stays online when the AI usage runs out.
