Use case

Veloxa Build: Build a habit tracker app with the AI app builder

A small app people open each day to tick off what they did. Start from the Habit Tracker template: sign-in and saved data already work, so you spend the chat on what it tracks and how it looks.

What you can build

What your habit tracker can have

Everything here is in the Habit Tracker template from the start. Keep it, change it or remove it by chat.

  • A weekly grid

One row per habit and one column per day, with buttons to move back and forward a week.

  • Streaks and progress

The current streak beside each habit, today's habits done, the week's completion as a percentage and the longest streak.

  • Habits people add themselves

A name, an emoji and a colour for each habit, and a way to delete one.

  • Sign-in in the top bar

Visitors sign in to keep their habits. Signed out, they see example habits and can try the app first.

The template

Start from the Habit Tracker template

“Start from this template” opens the builder and makes a copy of the template your own project, with its form or sign-in already working. Then tell the AI what to change.

What it saves, and for whom

Each signed-in visitor's habits and ticked days are saved in the app's built-in database under their own sign-in, so every person sees only their own. Visitors who do not sign in can try it, but nothing is kept when they close the page.

Prompts

Messages to send in the builder

Replace the parts in square brackets with your own details, then send one message at a time and check the preview after each.

  • “Let habits repeat only on the days I choose, such as Monday, Wednesday and Friday”
  • “Add a month view that shows each habit as a row of coloured days”
  • “Add a short note to each day”
  • “Rename it [app name] and use [colour] as the main colour”
  • “Start new visitors with three suggested habits: water, walk and read”
Limits

What it can and cannot do

Said plainly, so you know before you start whether it fits.

It can

  • Keep each person's habits under their own sign-in, with no database for you to set up
  • Work for anyone with the link, signed in or not
  • Change what it tracks and how it looks by chat

It cannot

  • It does not show you your users' habits: each person's data is kept under their own sign-in, with no admin view.
  • It does not send reminders or notifications.
  • It has no shared data, such as a group leaderboard; data that every visitor shares is not available yet.
  • AI features inside a published app are not available to its visitors yet.
  • It takes no payments: Veloxa Build has no checkout, no card payments and no deposits.
  • It does not sync with Google, Outlook or Apple calendars, and nothing it builds shows free time slots.
  • It sends no email to your visitors: a form shows a thank-you on the page, and an app sends no messages.
  • Custom domains are not available yet (coming soon); until then it is published at an address like yourname.veloxa.site.
From template to live site

Publishing your habit tracker

  1. Step 1: Open the template as your project

“Start from the template” opens Veloxa Build at build.veloxahost.com and copies the Habit Tracker template into a new project of yours. Sign in with your VeloxaHost account if you are not already. Copying it uses no AI.

  2. Step 2: Make it yours by chatting

Send the prompts above with your own details, or click an element in the preview and say what to change. Each change uses AI usage from your plan; the Free plan includes $1 a month.

  3. Step 3: Try it in the preview

The live preview runs the app as you build it, so you can try every change before anyone else sees it.

  4. Step 4: Publish on veloxa.site

Publish puts it on an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon. Until you publish, the project is a private draft, and every version can be restored from the history.

FAQ

Habit tracker app questions

Do people need an account to use it?
Only to keep their habits. Without signing in the app works, but the ticks are gone when the page closes.
Can I see my clients' progress?
Not in the app: each person's habits are kept under their own sign-in. For weekly check-ins you can read, ask the AI to add a form, whose replies reach your Inbox.
Can a group share one board?
Not yet. Each signed-in visitor has their own habits, and data that every visitor shares is not available yet.
Does it send reminders?
No. The app sends no email or notifications; people open it when they want to tick something off.
What does a habit tracker app cost?
The Free plan costs nothing and includes 1 published site, 1 GB of storage and $1 of AI usage a month for building. Starter is $9 a month with 5 published sites, and Pro $25 a month with 25 published sites. AI usage is spent while you build: the published app, its sign-ins and its saved data keep working when it runs out.
