Veloxa Build: Build a restaurant menu website with the AI website builder
A menu guests can read on a phone, opening hours that are right, and a way to ask for a table. Start from the Restaurant template, paste or attach your menu, and change a dish or a price later by typing a sentence.

The menu as text
Courses as tabs, each dish with a description, a price and V or GF marks. Every dish is text in the page, so it can be zoomed on a phone and read by search engines.
Chef's specials
Three cards with a tag such as Tonight or Weekend, a dish and a price, for what changes from week to week.
Hours and location
Address, phone and hours by day, with a line about private dining that you can rewrite or remove.
Table requests
Name, phone, email, a date, a time from your evening slots, from one to eight guests and a field for requests. Larger parties are asked to call.
The template
Start from the Restaurant template
“Start from this template” opens the builder and makes a copy of the template your own project, with its form or sign-in already working. Then tell the AI what to change.
Where table requests go
Each table request from the published site lands in your Inbox in the builder, with an email to you for each if you turn that on, and exports as CSV. It is a request: you confirm it by phone or email, and nothing checks which tables are free.

Replace the parts in square brackets with your own details, then send one message at a time and check the preview after each.

Limits
What it can and cannot do
Said plainly, so you know before you start whether it fits.
It can
- Change a dish, a price or the hours by chat, from a phone if need be
- Take table requests with no account for the guest
- Give a QR code on the tables an address to point at
It cannot
- It does not take orders for delivery or pickup.
- It does not check which tables are free or connect to a reservation system; you confirm each request yourself.
- It does not read the menu from a till or a delivery app; changes are made by chat.
- It takes no payments: Veloxa Build has no checkout, no card payments and no deposits.
- It does not sync with Google, Outlook or Apple calendars, and nothing it builds shows free time slots.
- It sends no email to your visitors: a form shows a thank-you on the page, and an app sends no messages.
- Custom domains are not available yet (coming soon); until then it is published at an address like yourname.veloxa.site.
From template to live site
Publishing your restaurant website
Step 1: Open the template as your project
“Start from the template” opens Veloxa Build at build.veloxahost.com and copies the Restaurant template into a new project of yours. Sign in with your VeloxaHost account if you are not already. Copying it uses no AI.
Step 2: Make it yours by chatting
Send the prompts above with your own details, or click an element in the preview and say what to change. Each change uses AI usage from your plan; the Free plan includes $1 a month.
Step 3: Try it in the preview
The live preview runs the page as you build it. A form you send there reaches your Inbox marked as a preview test, so you can check the fields before anyone else sees them.
Step 4: Publish on veloxa.site
Publish puts it on an address like yourname.veloxa.site, with HTTPS. Custom domains are coming soon. Until you publish, the project is a private draft, and every version can be restored from the history.
FAQ
Restaurant menu website questions
- How do I put my menu in?
- Paste it into the chat, or attach it as a PDF or a photo, and ask for it in the menu. Check every dish and price in the preview before you publish: the AI copies what it reads, and a photo can be misread.
- Can guests order food or pay online?
- No. The builder has no payments, so the site cannot take orders or deposits. Ask the AI to link to the ordering service you already use.
- Does the table form check which tables are free?
- No. There is no booking system behind it. Each request reaches your Inbox and you confirm it, which is what the form tells guests.
- How do I change the specials each week?
- Open the project, tell the AI the new dishes and prices, check the preview and publish. The live site shows the old specials until you publish the change.
- What does a restaurant website cost?
- The Free plan costs nothing and includes 1 published site, 100 table requests a month and $1 of AI usage a month for building. Starter is $9 a month with 1,000, and Pro $25 a month with 5,000. Submissions are counted per organization across all its sites, and the published page stays online when the AI usage runs out.
